Donald Stuart McClure of Shediac, NB. During the Second World War he served as a training pilot under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. Mr. McClure was awarded the Yorath Trophy by the Royal Canadian Flying Clubs an unprecedented sixteen times over his aviation career of more than sixty years.
His long association with the Air Cadet movement, excellence in the area of flight instruction and dedication to the preservation of Canada's aviation history through his involvement with the CAHS number only a few in his long list of accomplishments and contributions. The McClure Aviation Museum situated at the Moncton International Airport was named in his honour.
